Measure. Manage. Perform.

LID (Live integrated Database) is a vendor-neutral, auto-discovery product that correlates configuration information across an entire network. Developed in 2003 using proprietary discovery language Ozzscript, LID connects to almost any device with any protocol to discover the internal configuration of it. The application has been used to connect to different vendor equipment such as Motorola, Lucent, Nortel, Cisco, Tellabs, Alcatel, and Dragonwave. LID connects all parts of the telecom network, from base transceiver Stations to central switches. Connecting to a broad spectrum of equipment allows LID to create databases and analyze information contained in the entire network. LID also has data correlation mechanisms that can diagnose missing or inaccurate information in a network.
LID presents complex information in easy-to-understand templates Too often, RF and Network Engineers are hampered by their lack of visibility into the network's connectivity, be it soft or hard-wired connections. LID templates range from detailed DS0-level spreadsheets to high-level network snapshots. Overall, thousands of network relationships can be presented in its intuitive graphical user interface.
LID flows with a constantly changing network. As a customized database solution, new network elements and equipment interfaces are added on an ongoing basis as part of our service level agreements. LID is currently polling and translating live information from the following equipment:
Lucent CDMA equipment, including:
Lucent 5E
Lucent 5ESS
Lucent ECP
Lucent RAVS Report Processing
Dragonwave & Other Microwave Equipment
Multiple IP Technology Vendors
Multiple IT Technologies
Multiple Fiber Technology Vendors

The LID architecture and data model is a carrier-grade database solution that has portability and application to any wireless network. Errigal's interface models for Alcatel, Tellabs, Nortel and Motorola equipment are universal to many wireless providers, and fine-tuning for software/hardware versioning can be easily troubleshot in a carrier's lab environment. Please contact us for information on 'Proof of Concept' deployments. In many cases, the iDEN environment - because of its relative age - presents more difficult network challenges than newer wireless technology and related devices. Errigal software also accommodates these environments.
